Abstract

We will model the spectra of cosmological Type Ia supernovae in detail. We will use state-of-the-art (3D) NLTE spectral synthesis to analyze the observed multi-wavelength spectra of SNe already in the archives, and to make predictions for future observations. This will help us to unlock the mystery of the dark energy.
